I do not know what does it teach now. But they were experts in
teaching Latin American military the anti-Communist criminal gospel
emitted from the American bourgeoisie, in performing the basic task
of turning soldiers paid for by their own countrymen in butchers of
such countrymen, and other interesting though minor techniques such
as torture, blasting innocent children, and so on. It is a School of
Hatred and Perversion, carried to the highest peak of technical
perfection.
It used to be located in Panama until the Canal was transferred to
Panamanians. Now it is located in the USA, Fort Bragg if I am not
wrong. People who get tortured with the techniques taught at the
school include many who you would have considered your friends, and
if you had had the bad luck to be Latin Americans, you may well have
entered the list.
Directly, it is American citizen's tax dollars that pay for it. In
fact, it is the whole oppressed world.
I have developed a general distrust of the "of the Americas" motto. I
tend to see USA imperialism behind every situation where this phrase
appears. I remember the "Universidad de las Am�ricas" by the walls of
which I passed along once or twice in San Jos� de Costa Rica. I still
remember that those walls made me automatically think of the
magnificent, fortress-like, 17th. Century building of the Jesuit
Order in C�rdoba, Argentina. The Jesuits, at least, had sought the
effect. Don't know if the architects of the "Universidad de las
Am�ricas" had same ideas in their minds.
