The CrashList has evolved into a list that is distinct in the bridges it
has created. The Green-Red bridge is the main one that subscribers
are focused on, but there is also an even smaller Black-Red-(and Green?)
bridge here also (Andrej/ Jared), standing on very shaky foundations.

The future of these bridges is in having an environment where no side,
Green, Red, or Black, will find itself ENDLESSLY badgered from another
angle. Happily, maybe all three of these divisions can reach deep
inside, and find that none of these ideoogies of strugggle really should
consider itself the Master of The Universe, like the ruling elite that
we oppose, considers itself.

Part of the resentment towards the Red sector of this list accrues from,
that when the Red component actually did take state power, it became
just as arrogant and dimissive (and deadly) to the Green and Black
position, as the capitalist elite is today.

That being said, it should be reinforced that many marxists do support
Green issues. Nestor, Tahir, and Mark on this list being three
examples. But there are other examples also, besides just the
supporting comments from some of the Red subscribers on CrashList.

The paper of an Australian communist group prominent on several of the
Left marxist lists is called Geen Left Weekly. This is no
aberration, since the paper genuinely does address Green issues
frequently.

Another example, is in the endorsement of the Green Party candidate,
Ralph Nader, by several US marxist/ communist organizations.
Granted they are endorsing Ralph more because they are impressed with
his Red-like positions, than with his Greenness. But
never-the-less, there is endorsement, not hostility.

Similarly, there is a positive inter-relationship between the Black- Red
component, as many of tthe Red organizations are working with Blacks.
And vice-versa. The Seatlle protest was built on these three blocks,
Red, Green, Black. And that relationship has continued in all the
protests since, up to and including Prague.

As a marxist, I would like to think the Green and Black CrashList
subscribers for being on this list. I can't say that I rush out and
read all the things it is suggested us marxists should read. And I
wouldn't expect non-marxists to rush out and dive into 'Capital",
either. Or the 'Little Red Book' even.

But your presence together with us in one forum is great, and has opened
some marxist eyes and ears to arguments we might not always pay so much
attention to, though we should. And I would like to think that
Greens and Blacks can also get some VALUE from exposure to the Red
arguments.

It is also necessary to add for the marxists on the list, that the
burden is on the marxists to prove that we are worth listening to at
all. We think we should be given total respect, since we have been
so totally SUCCESSFUL! But that history of 'success' has been so
totally UNSUCCESSFUL historically in addressing the concerns of our
Green and Black comrades, that we have it twisted backwards, as well as
being right in our own minds.

Now, if maybe we could also work on building the Red- Black bridge.
There is already a Black-Green bridge. More so, than Turtles and
Teamsters.
