Well, I was thinking, what if you trigger the command accidentally and
reinitializing the dungeon takes ages?
This might work well in a tiles-specific submenu. Any news on changing
tiles options in-game?

On the topic of deterministic tile assignations: I just remembered
that tiles is susceptible to lagging issues and having to recalculate
floor and wall flavour every turn might be problematic in this aspect.
Reinitializing only on level (or save file?) load might be a good
compromise.
