Coders have been very good at killing bugs, but we probably should have a
release manager. Anyone out there to volounteer? The task would be to set
up a release branch and cherry pick commits from trunk. I won't be able to
do it, but I promise to pick up enough git to do it at some point. (So far
we had rotation release managers, which is very good, in my opinion.)

Everyone who's been involved with new code (features, interface, whatever)
could please have a look at the changelog.

There's no talk of new features at this point.
There is talk about not using some features for 0.8, however.

* Ashenzari

* Trampling (see wiki): we should pull Eronarn's patch right away?
* Zin (Eronarn, David)
* Holy monsters (Jude)
* Baileys (I'll still balance them before release)

Troves and mimics seem to be taken care of.

I did overhaul this right now. There are probably still many pieces of
dated information (also in-game).

But the most important task would be a list of bugs to be fixed before we
can call it release-ready.

Cheers,
David
