Fine with me. The way I see is this: given Ashenzari's emphasis on information, a cornered follower can use Scrying without drawback. This is unique, as everything else takes a turn (as Adam pointed out). > I would like to revisit what I had proposed with the Ashenzari skill boost: > -Skill boost is based on piety. > -If you have bound magic (jewelry), you can boost one magical skill > (magic skills, invocations, evocations, spellcasting). > -If you have bound body (armour), you can boost one physical skill > (anything else). > -Changing a skill is instant, but costs piety - a lot of it. But for reasons I've explained many times by now (and which you still don't have to accept), I went with the reskilling. I am afraid it won't make you happy either, but the power I've suggested (the boost to all lowish skills) arose out of thinking about your idea for a while. I believe that the combination of active reskilling and passive (potential) lowish skill boost, the god is nicely round. > *I still feel that "bound hands" doesn't work well. Yes. Bound hands is out of the business. It's on the wiki, but I didn't add it to the Ash todo list on purpose. > *The way armour layers could be revisited. That's true. There are pros and cons to this, one question is why you cannot butcher only because your wield a cursed blunt weapon. Not sure we have to tackle this right now, but I will add it to the (stripped down) Ash wiki page.
