Actually, after some thinking, I have another idea: what if we made the
boost an active invocation?  We'd rip Heroism from Okawaru's grubby mitts
and give a stronger version to Ash.

It would be something you notice rather than a DG/Chei boost that is mostly
hidden, and would provide a much needed piety sink.  Scrying is not
something that's currently worth putting any piety into, so there's no
currently proposed way other than ridiculous reskilling costs -- which can
be scummingly amortized by leaving some easy levels unexplored or a quick
trip to Hells/what not.

Since piety would have some use, current piety gains would be fine.

The bonus could be either constant if we want linear gains from bondage, or
increasing with piety if we want quadratic bondage.  And with variable
duration, that's actually quadratic/cubic.
