If Roger Twitchell was here he would advise a different solution. If your struts are worn out, open the hatch, and push against one strut, near the middle of it. You can put a very slight bend in in, not enough to be visible, and once it has a slight bend, it will not allow the hatch to fall down. Try it out..... Later Dave
