Well, the O2 sensor seems to have been the issue, and ironically the
sauder is holding. Will still be replacing it tonight, just to be
safe, but I thought that they were more sensative than that.
Just thought I would update. I know you were all just DIING to know,
right? ;)

FWIW, when I first got my CRX back in 1998, the wire to the O2 sensor broke almost at the base of the sensor. It looked like it broke during the time when I had the tranny rebuilt by a local shoppe and they tried to crimp it back together with a butt connector.
I had enough wire to solder it back together but I was warned by many not to heat the wire for too long as it could (will?) damange the O2 sensor.
Sure enough, my Check Engine light would come on about 10 minutes into driving (after the engine had warmed up). I learned from the local dealership that if the O2 sensor goes out, the ECU will kick into a "default" factory mode so that the car can still be driven. On some cars, if the O2 sensor goes out, the engine will just not idle or not even run at all (like our Audi 4000 we use to own...).
Anyway... I picked up an O2 sensor from the local Kragen's for about $40 (USD) and it's still in use today.
