Although in my tests the history doesnt change the time for a checkout
that much. For svn log it does, but thats quite logically. That means, a
new repository wasnt much faster.
But we should retest with svn version 1.3 as there are quite some speed
improvments (on client side and in the repository layout (dump, reload
needed).
