Now, csdemo being broken shouldn't really matter. Try running walktest (which is the standard test application for CS.) Also, make sure simple1 anf simple2 work. So long as you've got those running, I'd say it's safe to say your CS build is in good, working order.

CS (recommended version, just downloaded today) was built with MSVC 7 on
Windows XP Pro SP2. There were no compilation errors or warnings.
I read the suggestions in section 2.4.3 of the manual (make sure all the
dlls have been compiled). All of the dlls appear to be present in the
/CS directory and the working directory has also been set to /CS.
This is probably something trivial that someone new to CS is missing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
