Hi exporters

Have you checked what Dun & Bradstreet are saying about you to your
customers?  If they carry a rating for you they get it by contacting
business contacts: suppliers etc.  One local company recently discovered
that they had a really bad rating but found it was based on incorrect 'late
payer' reports from three suppliers from a sample of four taken by D&B.
After threats of legal action the suppliers corrected their info, D&B
updated their rating and informed all the people to whom they had sent
incorrect ratings and paid the legal bills of the company concerned.  Maybe
no one's fault but a bit of a worry when D&B are a trusted supplier of
information to overseas buyers.  It might just pay to check.

The report came from a reliable source so please can you let me know if you
find a problem too?
