It will never be possible to stop this kind of cheats. For example, if there will be a encryption, the cheat coder can use a bridge to get the current sessionkey. There is no need to run this software on the client. Only a embedded system which act as a bridge between client and router. In security it's called man-in-the-middle-attack. It's not easy to stop this.
