Agreed, but the workaround is acceptable enough (to us, at least) if we can get fixes for some of the more pressing issues -- I would hope that "losing the lobby" when Steam Community goes down would be prioritized over this as this is somewhat manageable and can be fully automated.
But I realize that addressing defects and prioritizing with and over/under enhancements is a delicate balance and neither issue appears to affect the core product (matchmaking), so I keep my fingers crossed week over week :) Regardless, I still place high value on this list even if Valve has been relatively silent as of late.
