The command you are looking for is:
sv_unlag <boolean>
Enable/disable lag compensation entirely.
Please remember, that this will change the behavior of the game and
should not be used.
If a players shoots, the following will happen: (roughly described)
- The server recieves the Package along with a timestamp when the shot
was made
- The server views the package of the gamestate sent right before the
shot was taken to the client, and changes the positon of all entities
according to this.
- Then the server checks for an hit
- The server restores the old state, or lets you die.
So what follows out of this is:
--> If a player hits you on his screen, you'll usally die. This is good.
Even if you are in a hidden position when you are dying you your screen,
at the time you were shot at you were NOT hidden.
Disabiling interpolation would mean for anyone with a ping > 16 that he
wouldn't be able to shoot at your had while running, instead he has to
aim where your head *will be* when the package reaches the server. This
is *not* wat a player wants, so I would advise against using sv_unlag 1

Hi,
I have a dedicated box at a local IDC. My net_graph ping to it is 10 and
the ping number in the scoreboard is only 5. In a fight with any player
who has a 40 or more higher scoreboard-ping than me, I always feel I am
lagged for about 0.2-0.5 seconds. And most players in my server have at
least 20 higher ping than me.
For example, in the map awp_india, I often get killed after I strafe
back into the back of crate at the spawn point. In 1.6 Iâ??ve never
encountered this problem. I know CoD series is notorious for its lag
compensation mechanism, which is in favor of high-pingers. I eventually
quit that game, because I canâ??t stand receiving a forever unfair
disadvantage in my own server.
How can I reduce this effect? Or can I completely disable lag compensation?
