Problem is, everyone is complaining and Valve dont care. They havent posted a
single respond to the issues since november 2013.And about proof, they can just
start a CSGO server and get 20 players on it and see the problem.
I dont know what we can do to get their attention. Ido seems ignoring mails,
Ive sent him 2-3 since november with no respond at all.

Subject: Re: [Csgo_servers] CSGO update problem

Someone with knowledge should really fix some proof (stats etc) and send them
around to pro´s twitters, on reddit and in the steam forums. This is really
ridiculous. How is Team Fortress 2 handling players?

Some people really need to stop saying there's no performance issue.
Just a quick comparison between CSGO 1 year ago and CSGO now allows anyone with
one half of a brain to see that there ARE performance issue.

Or also a comparison between linux and windows versions of CSGO.
And if you want we can even get in other comparisons (also they are not as
relevant as the first ones) : BF3 ? 128 slots on an old Core2Quad Q6600 -> NO
PROBLEM ! And keep in mind that all maps are bigger and much more complex than
any of CSGO, most servers are running 64 slots ...

Now, don't tell us Valve cannot do a little effort in their code's optimisation
and AT THE VERY LEAST get linux's at the same level as Windows's.
It's absolutely ridiculous to say in the same message that you need a 4+GHz CPU
to have a stable server at 32 players, and that there's no performances issue.

Can confirm Linux is suffering performance problems that Windows aren't. My

Xeon 1270 can only hold roughly 22 before tickrate takes a plummet whilst on

Windows its rock solid 128 at 32.
