Does your CPU support abm and fma instructions ?
cat /var/run/dmesg.boot | grep Features (on freebsd)
or
cat /proc/cpuinfo (on linux)

Quick specs:
Intel Core i5 2400S / 4GB / 128GB SSD
FreeBSD 10.2 / linux_base-f10
Dedicated servers that perform as expected on this config:
hlds/cs1.5, hltv, UT2004
Startup:
./srcds_run -game csgo -usercon +game_type 0 +game_mode 0 +mapgroup
mg_active +map de_dust2 +sv_lan 1 -tickrate 128
CS:GO installs and updates fine through SteamCMD. Running the server
appears to work as expected, though the console seems laggy.
Connecting from multiple capable Win10 boxes to the server is
unplayable. net_graph shows *sv:1000 +- 0.0ms var: 0.000ms* in red.
Again, other game servers perform well. I'm installing CS:S and
testing this soon to compare. My rate settings are default, tick 128
(tried 64 too). sv_lan 1 as this is a LAN server for infrequent small
events. Are there known issues with FreeBSD or are there some cvars I
need to check? Really not doing anything exotic here. Nothing fancy on
the startup or in the configs. Mostly stock. I've tried without any of
my config's to get a vanilla server and the problem still exists.
I don't know if FreeBSD is popular any more for dedicated game
servers, but the primary reason I'm set up this way is it's just the
way I ran 1.5 and 1.6 back in the day and has worked fine for me until
now. I can install an actual Linux distro if that's what I need to do,
but the problem only exists with CS:GO.
