I've had similar experiences in Safari (with its default settings!). Situations where I had to give some text-containing DIVs a fixed width, only to realize that in Safari, things would break horribly because some text was rendered differently -taking up more horizontal space- in Safari. Not just "strange" fonts, but also standard ones. mS ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [css-d@lists.css-discuss.org] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ List policies -- http://css-discuss.org/policies.html Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
