Heinz
Don't you think this is why the South African IT market is in such a bad
state? We have a lot of "Senior" developers who cant even write a proper
hello world application. According to me you can't be called a "Senior"
developer before you have worked on and successfully delivered a big
commercial product. A developer can't be a senior until he knows the ins and
outs of the language he uses and working on a really big system will give a
developer the opportunity to learn that and get the experience needed.

Any comments?

Johan

Easy. You go and work for a few years overseas, then come back
and you'll be senior ;-)

Kind regards from

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

So what does a fresh graduate with no experience fall under and also how
does a graduate become a junior if companies are looking for Juniors
with 1 years experience?

Kind Regards
Clint Lewis
