Hello CTRL,
In my oppinion if the USA or NATO wanted to take out the
person or person's responsible for the crisis in Kosovo they could have
done it long ago. They also could have apprehended the leader's peacefully at a
few point's in time along the way as well. The NATO and USA leaders instead
choose to let this thing escuelate to its current stage and make it far worse by
bombing targets not even linked to the problem.
They could also have apprehended Saddam Hussein on more than
one occassion and also choose not to take that course of action either. Instead
we now are indeed in a global War we have no business in. We the USA can not and
must not be the Worlds police force. The only time the USA military should be
used in a War like setting is when we ourselves are directly attacked. This so
far has not happened since the bombing of Pearl Harbor and even that could have
been avoided.
So people I do not place one iota of blame on the troops on
the line. I however do blame the leadership and policy makers who order such
things to take place at a huge cost of both valuable resources and man power.
Most of which can not be replaced by the way at no cost. For instance how many
gallons per hour do the jets making the bombing runs burn. How many tons of food
do the troops consume while in the operating theater. Here is one even greater
to consider how much radioactive watse does the nuclear powered war ships
generate per hour. So people take a good look around you it may not be here much
longer at the current rate of exchange of blood shed and out right B.S.
propaganda.
One other thing to consider for every multi-million dollar
missle fired we could house and feed several thousand people right here in the
USA that are currently living in poverty on the streets. Many of whom I might
add are no longer of use to the military who have served in the military at some
point in their lives. This same money could also go to aid in the design,
research, and implimentation of envioronmentally friendly technologies as well.
I know a some of you will probally say let them die or
kill them all or even say something to this post that is derogatory in nature. I
would hope that most of you would not take offense at this post and start to see
exactly where the problems are and do something positive about it for a
change.
