Do our government leaders attempt to manipulate or outright lie to the public thru the information they send out? Yes. Do NGO's? Yes. Do advocacy groups? Yes. Do other governments? Yes. Do they do so thru the UN? Yes. Do corporations attempt to manipulate the public? Yes. Do professors, neighbors, relatives attempt to manipulate? Yes. Do all of those writers whose articles you post attempt to manipulate? Yes. Do any of the above admit to manipulation or outright lying? No. Do they do it all of the time. No. They say the best propaganda is 75% truth. Elected government officials keep their finger in the air to see which way the winds are blowing. Elections determine who gets the power. The others mentioned manipulate and lie for power also.
