**Police search for neo-Nazis near Philadelphia**
Police mounted a manhunt Wednesday for two alleged neo-Nazis suspected in
the murder of a skinhead near Philadelphia, authorities said. The two
suspects allegedly beat their victim, Yohann Lee, 18, to death with a
blunt instrument such as a hammer or tire iron at an apartment in
Norristown and dumped his body into a shopping cart at a nearby park,
authorities said.

**No one is safe from hate: Mrs. Byrdsong**
In one of her only public appearances since the funeral of her husband,
Sherialyn Byrdsong thanked neighbors for their support but warned them
that the shooting of her husband, Ricky, shows that everyone is
susceptible to hate. "We all know that my husband came to an untimely
death because of reasons that no human being should be subject to," said
Byrdsong, whose husband was gunned down July 2 by Benjamin Nathaniel
Smith. "But we all know that there are some sick people in America and
that no neighborhood is safe from hate."

**Ill. racist loses violinist gig**
Milliken University officials have fired admitted white supremacist
Matthew Hale as a professional violinist with the Millikin-Decatur
Symphony Orchestra in the central Illinois community of Decatur. Hale is
the leader of the World Church of the Creator based in Peoria, Ill., which
preaches hatred of all non-whites. A former member of that church,
Benjamin Smith, went on two-state shooting spree over the July 4th weekend
that left two people dead in Illinois and Indiana.

**Klan is due in Columbus**
Ku Klux Klan members are to rally once again in Ohio -- this time on Rosh
Hashana.Members of the Ohio Realm of the Knights of the White Kamelia KKK
are to march Saturday in Columbus, but with little fanfare
from the community groups that oppose them.

**Many U.S. synagogues alert to security for holy days**
Edward Alpert had heard stories of Jewish persecution and knew
anti-Semitism persisted. But he had never been afraid of being a target
until a 21-year-old white supremacist shot and wounded six Jews just a few
miles from Alpert's synagogue. As Jews prepare for their most sacred time
of year - the High Holy Days, which start Friday at sundown with Rosh
Hashana and run through Yom Kippur on Sept. 20 - synagogues across the
country will be on alert, with armed guards
and security cameras.
