The real question is, who owns or controls the banks and multinationals these
guys work for, as corporate lawyers, investment bank reps, or "consultants"
for the same?

Unfortunately, there's a snag. Especially in the area of PUBLIC records of
ultimate ownership and controlling shares, the lawyers have seen to it that
we face "Chinese
boxes" -- individuals or "shell" groups named who are only fronting for other
individuals or "shell" groups, who in turn may be proxies for other
individuals or "shell" groups ...
Outside the US where records are relatively public, it can be magnitudes
harder to discover who ultimately owns what, or, divvying it up, who holds
controlling shares.
I believe it's safe to say that, even without our being able to name names,
it all comes down to the super-rich, Old Money here and "blue blood" abroad,
plus their underworld
equivalents in the Mafia, CIA Octopus, and Odessa, with massive long-term
communal assets which of course are "laundered" in the same washers used by
the respectable.
