interested in placating anyone, except their investors. They

No, I only quoted your own terminology -- 'placebo' -- back to you.
If alternative treatments are nothing but 'placebos', you still
haven't
explained why more people find such 'placebos' effective, than they do
traditional medicine.
Why don't traditional protocols have a comparable 'placebo' effect on
people?
