this is news to me- mosst growers will not do the above- why would they?
no-one smokes the leaves, unless they are new to growing. leaves from the
female (apart from the resin encrusted ones around the flowers) and
everything from the male plant is best just used for baking! you can get a
tumbler (like a stone polishing machine) and make your own hash out of them
too. topping the plant will, as nessie mentioned, incresae the amount of
flowerheads on the female plant, it will not force thc anywhere. and it is
tricky to know whether to top them or not- some strains will be bushy from
the word go and not need topping - but some do need it. one plant will only
produce a certain amount of thc- if you leave the plant to grow without
pruning you will have a lesser amount of fruit- but the fruit will be
stronger. if you top it then lots of fruit but less strong. that is a theory
anyway- not so sure that it is correct- there is contrasting evidence (that
i have seen anyway) about that argument.. so don't flame me if you read
something else somewhere! ;)
