I agree that these neighbors seemed abnormally interested in this guy's background...if these neighbors had said that Beck had acted strangely, or was belingerent and got into fights with neighbors, or somehow acted in a frightening manner, then one could perhaps understand a few of them wanting to check up on him... But all of these cheery neighbors who were interviewed all described Beck as a very nice guy...so that makes their inordinate interest in his profession (or alleged profession) all the more suspicious... >So could the Deputy have been accidentally shot by friendly fire >and the suspect burned to destroy evidence of this?
