I had problems with evince that caused me to swich to atril (on Fedora 22). I can't remember details. I think evince has changed to behave like other recent gnome tools that annoyingly don't have frame or title-bar. Atril is saner. I don't think I've had focus issues with Atril, though I don't use it very often, since for many purposes I find xpdf fast and adequate. Its text section is block based, which is sometimes useful, sometimes annoying. Aaron
