Seconded. Most of the reports I've seen (and I think all of the occurances I've hit) fall into 2 categories: 1) Wacky stuff around missing, incomplete, or misleading WM_HINTS handling(e.g., chromium issues, probably the java stuff). 2) Somewhat broken interaction between ctwm and an app when they split handling of moves with EWMH stuff. Both of those should be fully fixed up as of 4.0.0. Of course, that hardly provides much evidence of absence, and focus handling is a giant fiddly mess. So while I'm not aware of any way to trigger an issue currently, I'd be unsurprised to find one.
