Uhmm, with beta 4 (which I run), it seems to simply be placed randomly
in the workspace in question.  I just tried, and was first thinking my
laptop was temporarly damn slow, then I went to look in the taget
workspace...  The xterm was there, patiently waiting for me to do
something :-).
