Any advantage of ClamWin over AVG? In other words, why not use ClamWin instead of AVG, or vice-versa? Or would it be a good idea to use both?

Right. From what I understand, under Windows you NEED both an anti-virus package and an anti-spyware package. Are there any FLOSS anti-spyware packages for Windows? A quick google did turn up this article:
