I just booted up the Sarge netinstall cd and the install has gone pretty much the same way as it did with the cd's from the set. The first part is very intuitive and the only difference so far has been that when it tells you to reboot it brings you right to the screen that asks you which components you would like to install rather than having to log in as root and doing the "# base-config" command.
If you already have the cd iso's downloaded you will save time by just using them to install the additional components as I now have a few hours before everything is downloaded to get kde, gnome etc... going and the installer is more or less the same.
I would assume that the net install downloads the latest stable versions of KDE, Gnome, etc., which may be more recent than that which is on the CD. Is that correct?
I downloaded the torrent files from here: http://ftp.acc.umu.se/pub/cd-images/debian-weekly/torrents/i386/
the iso's are here: http://ftp.acc.umu.se/pub/cd-images/debian-weekly/i386/
As Scott said the netinstall iso is here:

Cool. Thanks for the links. I'm downloading the netinstall right now. We'll see how that installation fairs on VirtualPC on the Mac.
