My LinkSys router has a DynamicDNS client built in. Don't yet know how to run it though. Do I need an account somewhere? Can I use my own DNS server (on another static IP?)
We have used Linksys to connect with a DDNS server like dyndns.org.
If you wanted to use your own server, you would have to run the ddns service, but I have never played with it.
