I have been trying to establish a dial up connection
using KPPP and have not been successful. I can
connect to the server but apparently I never get past
authentication. KPPP tells me that I am connected but
when trying to access a web site or use e-mail nothing
happens. I have indicated to use PAP since that is
the method by which my IP authenticates but I still
have no luck. Does anyone have any ideas of what to
try next? I am becoming desparate as we are moving to
Southern Africa next month and will only have a dial
up connection to use.
