FF's search box is probably what I use more than anything. I use a lot of search engines and getting to the box is a simple Ctrl-k. Plus -- highlight text, right-click, and the context menu allows you to search for the highlighted text using whatever search engine has been selected in the search bar: Google, Yahoo, YouTube, Wikipedia, Google Scholar, Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, Flickr, Delicious, Creative Commons, Project Gutenberg, etc., etc. The simple things are the best.
