Just logged into jabber room on conference.jabber.org service. Evidently it's been a problem for a while, they keep trying to contact Google, not much luck getting any response. Some unidentified problem between their servers. According to these folks, Gmail users couldn't join chatrooms anywhere, for 2-3 days, that just got fixed. I don't use gmail chat, so don't know about that one. But it does seem it's not just me (for once?).
