Hello all, I'm using Skype on my eeePC on Xandros (I believe). It's been working great, especially with Google Voice and SkypeIn. However, in the past few days Skype seems to cut out after about 10-15 minutes of conversation. I'm trying to narrow the issue down and so was wondering if anyone knows why this might be happening?
Some thoughts: - Skype or SkypeIn has a limit on call duration. Have not been able to confirm/refute by searching Skype's website with Google. - Google Voice has some limits on call duration. Have not been able to confirm/refute by searching GV's website. - the eeePC can't handle the load. Has worked fine in the past. - my network is flaky. Other apps seem to be working fine at the same time the call is dropped (e.g. ssh). - router configuration. - modem configuration. - something else? BTW, I've installed Ubuntu Netbook Remix (UNR) on a SD card and run it on the eeePC. Works well except that I have not been able to get Skype to work.
