I downloaded the ISO from 3/22:

$ wget -c -N
'http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/lucid-desktop-i386.iso'

Was able to run Ubuntu 10.04 as a guest on Ubuntu 8.10 using VBose
2.0.4 and Ubuntu 8.04 using VBose 1.5.6. However, I had to press the
F6 key at boot up and check both acpi=off and noapic.
