what command would you have typed that you would expect to tell you which package allowed you to install hfstools and friends? mount.hfsplus still there's the warning that journaled hfs plus doesn't work in linux as far as I know. I found a kernel module but its kind of old. It would be nice if they'd publish the HFS+ on disk journal format but that's apple for you?
