Someone asked me if I could access a mac hard drive from ubuntu.  I said let's
see.  I typed hfsplus to see if anything was there.  I just got a prompt.

Then I tried googling hfsplus and got back a decent amount of
materials.  Out of curiosity I tried apt-get with hfsplus and
downloaded.  I started synaptic and searched for hfs and also located
hfstools.

But, like I said, there was no response from the command line.  The
lack of response is what disturbed me.
