I think it's stretching things to bring in fire and sarin gas. I think
you'll find that if you compare those who have died from fire, or Sarin gas
will make up about one ten thousandth of one per cent of those shot?
It doesn't take a statistician to dismiss that figure as irrelevant, anyone
can see it is.

Arson is a pretty common method of committing mass murder. Far more
people are killed in arson mass murders (certainly in this country) than
with firearms. The total number of people murdered every year in this
country with firearms is about 80-odd, I don't know what the figure is
for arsons but it certainly is not one ten thousandth of one per cent
of that figure.
