Most 'Murder Squads' are staffed with personnel taken
from other areas of the force, this is especially true
of uniformed staff. After an initial 'blitz' the steady
drudgery of a murder investigation falls to CID and the
personnel drawn from other parts of the force return to
their normal duties.
Specialist investigators are not withdrawn from investigations
to man speed cameras!
