I didn't insinuate anything. I was mearly raising the point
that if indeed the Police were not exempt from Section 5
then they would be open to prosecuition for possesion of
prohibited Weapons. It now appears, after further debate,
that they probably are exempt from the Firearms Act.
However if it had turned out that they did not benefit from
such an exemption, surely they should face the same
Penalty as everyone esle who is in possesion of these
Weapons is likely to face. As You your self have pointed
out, the Police are subject to the same Laws as everyone
else.

A response springs to mind about sharing cells
