I'm sure he was, but, call me picky, it was Mark Chapman who shot John
Lennon; it occurred around the time that I left my school to go on to earn a
drinking man's degree; there was a gentleman there of the same name and at
the time he got a certain amount of stick over it...

Hinkley shot Reagan. I actually knew one of the lawyers who defended him
at his trial. Damn good lawyer, got him off by reason of insanity.
