'Hangman' Heydrich died from septicaemia, brought about
from infection caused by the horse hair stuffing from the
car seats on which he was travelling being driven into
him, along with grenade splinters.
The attack was carried out by brave Czechs, trained in
Britain and parachuted back to their homeland for the
assassination.
