BASC is, by far, the strongest shooting body in the UK. It is extremely
important that it is led well. Can some else post Charles Nodder's letter?
And can John Swift, or someone else at BASC post a thoughtful rebuttal?

Well said, this S.G.M. of BASC will cost around 50,000 pounds and
if it was to succeed (which I doubt) then it would require the council to vote
a motion of no confidence, these are John Swift's friends not foes. So if that
failed which it would, then he would need to go for a vote of no confidence
in council which would cost a further 50,000 a total of 100,000. Plus loads
ands loads of hours, which could all be better spent fighting the real
enemy- the antis, not John swift!

Yes. With the Home Affairs Committee hell-bent on screwing young
shots and a hunting ban before the Scottish parliament, this is
not a good time for in-fighting.
