ATTENTION MEMBERS OF THE BASC
YOUR CHANCE TO CHANGE THE LEADERSHIP OF THE BASC
We are attempting to call a special general meeting of the
British Association for Shooting and Conservation to debate and
vote on a Motion Of No Confidence in the Chief Executive to Lead
the Association.
In order to achieve this Special General Meeting there is a need
to present the signatures of at least 1% of the Membership (at
least 1300).
THIS IS WHY WE ARE ASKING FOR YOUR COMMITMENT
IF IN LIGHT OF THE ACTIONS OF THE LEADERSHIP (chief executive)
YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH HIS PERFORMANCE AND DIRECTION, AND
AGREE WITH THE MOTION AS SET OUT BELOW, WE WOULD ASK YOU TO
COMPLETE AND SIGN THE ATTACHED FORM (copy and paste this
message) AND SEND IT TO THE ADDRESS PROVIDED.
We are driven to this extraordinary action as countrymen,
Wildfowlers and ordinary BASC members.
It is the democratic right of Members of the Association to
debate and Vote on the Proposal.
There is no wish to see the fine organisation that is the BASC
denigrated, merely to see a change of leadership that reflects
the need to fight, and to be seen to fight for all genuine
concerns of the whole shooting community in these difficult
times.
