walmart t/t buzzes us pretty close as we're on lamm rd heading to hunt
hs/old raleigh rd. week prior, same thing. this time, doc's had
enough. he pulls in behind the t/t when it pulls into the bottling
plant at novapharm rd and lamm rd and lets the guy have it. he was one
MAD COW.

this is fantastic. i looked at jon's times. 5:18 hrs on the bike for
112 mi. 21.13 mph. wow! and then ran a 4:11 marathon. even though
he's not around much anymore, he's got the COW of the Year award sewed
up. if bert would put away his surf board, he'd get New COW of the
Year.

now, who gets the "Mad COW" of the Year award? i nominate doc for
chasing down a walmart tractor-trailer driver and giving him the
business.

Congrats to Jon Anderson on his 190 place finish (I think there were
over 2000 racers) in the Iron Man yesterday with a time of 10:41:21.

I dehydrated as well yesterday, didn't eat much, and I also didn't sleep
well. I weighed 6 lbs. less this morning than yesterday morning. I
guess I should have had something more substantial than my usual
recovery drinks. I was hoping for a nice recovery ride this morning to
finish out my week then David shows up plus Jeff is more the man than he
was a month ago. Great ride! Thanks to David for easing up just a bit.

I have one word for my 10K: Ouch! Suffice it to say there was no
ribeye for me last night. All I could stomach was a couple of bowls of
cereal. Then I was up 'til 3:00a.m. with my legs twitching, empty
stomach and dehydration. I'm bagging my 15 mile recovery ride today.
Just another day at the office for me too. Looking forward to my 13
mile run tomorrow morning. Ughhh. Kinnie Tim, I can't believe you
rode this a.m.!!!

Just another day at the office. Kinnie, John from Rocky Mount and I
rode 79 miles this afternoon. We did a loop around Wilson from
Nashville . Leaving Nashville we toured Elm City , Saratoga ,
Stantonsburg, Black Creek and Lucama back to Nashville . Nice little
rain shower as we were approaching Cattail Road which really felt good
in the 93 degree heat. I really hope KP enjoyed her recovery 10k run
afterwards. Me, I prefer recovery drinks. Anybody riding in the
morning?

Tim
