....

you got lucky on the wind. Cross is the best you can ask for.
Downtown Swansboro has this place called Yana's
http://www.yanamamas.com/
in the past had great breakfast and lunch

Yana left and is now at ballyhoos in EI
http://www.ballyhoos.net/menu.html
leaving the island go thru the 1st EI stoplight
next rd to the left, down on left.
i have not eaten there since yana arrived but
she has a + rep.

once you leave swansboro slim pickins till jville
or maybe surf city if you take the beach route
via sneads ferry and north topsail
which is where I would go. But it will add a few miles.
17 will be busy
especially as you get closer to hampstead and W

you ck into the base pass? hope that you can work
that out. I know no military, maybe give obama a call
he seems to want to help everybody these days.

stardude, did you ride ei/swansboro to wilmington on your
crazy ride? which route did you take?

be careful
