You're one to talk about mental deficiency...
Have you ever actualy run a business (versus working for somebody else),
especialy a non-profit? I didn't think so. I have, from 1984 to 1990 I
help found, fund, and operate Discovery Hall, a hands-on science museum
here in Austin. We didn't start having financial and funding problems
until we opened our board of directors up to non-scientific types. As a
result we got some folks who were more interested in getting money from
whatever source, it caused the business to fail.
A non-profit MUST be careful about where and WHY they get the money they
get. If they're smart they'll walk away if it has the wrong sorts of
strings to it.
