There's also the fact that Cython can be of interest to many people who might want to use it as a standalone tool in their own projects on top of their normal Python toolchain, thus for whom Sage may be too large a dependency (even if it was native for windows). Providing self-contained native windows installers is always a big plus for a project in terms of gaining acceptance, even if it is already packaged as part of some other toolchain (say Sage, EPD or PythonXY for example, all of which ship Cython). In any case, keep up the good work!
