Maybe I'm a bit late to report, but I've come to the same
conclusion. I was unsure about 'unravel' and
'merger_equivalent'. I have checked that they are only called
for mergers, although I don't understand why mergers is ok.
Well, now it's sort of triple-checked. :-)
